Growing up like most kids I was a water baby, I loved anything to do with water, be it in a pool or in a bath. I never had official swimming lessons, but I was always swimming with my older brother and sister. After trying out competitive swimming in year 10 at school, I was hooked. I loved the fact that I could compete in something so fun. I immediately joined the school swim team and at 18, when I left school, I joined a club and the rest as they say is history.
After 13 years of swimming and over 30 international medals from the Olympics, World and Commonwealth Championships, I was very happy to hang up my bathers and move on to a new chapter in my life, one with kids! Looking back on my career, I wouldn’t change a thing. But one thing always did stay in the back of my mind.

Surveillance released of Miami Beach shooting
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Surveillance video was released of the shooting that occurred on South Beach, on Super Bowl night.
Twenty-seven-year-old Floyd Wells could be seen on surveillance video Sunday night firing a shot near Tantra Restaurant, located on Pennsylvania Avenue and Espanola Way. Family members said he is the gunman seen on surveillance removing his hoody and cap.
According to family members, Wells had his chain ripped and robbed from off his neck, and that's when he pulled his gun on his attacker, across the street from Deco Sandwiches shop.
Miami Beach Police said 23-year veteran Louis King caught up with Wells on Pennsylvania Avenue and Espanola Way when he fired. "Pulled up on us in like a pickup truck and just jumped out and before he got all the way out of the car, he just opened the door and fired like three shots. Exactly three shots and shot my people in the arm and the shoulder," said Wells' cousin.
Police have not revealed what lead King to fire. "Because it's part of the Internal Affairs and being reviewed by the state attorney's office, we can't release much more," said Miami Beach Police Detective Juan Sanchez.
Wells' family members who were with him the night of the shooting said there was no need for police to fire. "He didn't do anything. He was screaming and calling the police out here, someone robbed him," said his cousin. "He has never been in trouble in his life. Never had a felony in his life. He doesn't even have a parking ticket," said his cousin.
Police have not released any surveillance video taken outside of the club. Wells remains in the hospital in stable condition.
Charges are still pending.

Rumor Claims Will Smith Dead In Car Accident
Going two for two on the fake celebrity death circuit this weekend comes a new name with an old story: Will Smith dead in a car accident.
Perhaps showing that fake celebrity deaths seriously need some more compelling story lines, the alleged report claims that Will Smith “was driving his Porsche in the Hollywood Hills earlier today when he suddenly lost control and flipped his car.”
The report goes on to say “Paramedics arrived on the scene within minutes but were unable to revive Mr. Smith.”
0/10 for originality on this one. For the record though, Will Smith is not dead, Will Smith has not died in a car accident, and there’s nothing more to be said on the matter.

Since You Went Away
The movie is set in a mid-sized American town, where people with loved ones in the military try to cope with their changed circumstances and make their own contributions to the war effort. The main characters are a housewife whose husband is away in the service and her two daughters who are just growing into womanhood. The story runs from early January to late December 1943; the film itself was made in late 1943 and early 1944.
Though sentimental, Since You Went Away is more somber and realistic about the carnage of war and the pain of separation than some other homefront movies made during World War II. While composer Max Steiner's recurring title theme has reminded a few contemporary viewers of the wartime hit "I'll Be Home for Christmas," this has no basis in fact; it received no comment in the press of the time (or in studio publicity), and no mention of the song appears in the film's credits.

I am not saying or stating that Sean Kingston is dead. As you can see at the title of this post, it contains a question mark (?) meaning, its not a some sort of official statement, perhaps, a question asking for some news, updates and real information about the accident.
